Hi all

I hope you were all able to enjoy Christmas. We had a lovely time. I made a Molly cake instead of a Christmas cake, and put sherry in it instead of orange joice. Then I made some holes in the top with a skewer, and dribbled more sherry in. Result - a sticky, gooey. boozy cake. It was
fabulous, more like Christmas pudding.

I shan't eat it all at once, will try and save some for later in the month.

Lyn

I made a Chritmas cake this year- first one in a while. I soaked the fruit in whisky overnight. There's no way I'll be able to save any of it for later though!!Tongue
I've had molly cake too- not tried it with booze!
